Muslims: The Predictable Story

September 11, 2012 by Leave a Comment

In “Islam: The Untold Story” (UK channel 4) Tom Holland, the famous historian and writer presents something that should have been explosive in nature to most people in the West (and the East) today; the notion that Islam was invented (or rather – created) to serve the geopolitical changes in the world at the time of the Arab military expansion. In this documentary one does have the feeling that while this is some kind of common standard notion regarding Islam in the historical academic circles the wider audience had not been introduced to this idea yet.

Tom Holland is a fantastic writer, he delivers historical facts about the ancient world like a very small selected group of writers, and has the ability – and the knowledge – to present to his reader the world as it was thousands of years ago. He is a sharp and intelligent writer, a passionate historian of the best kind – the one who does not let go until he gets satisfying facts, and his criticizers should know that they are confronting a scholar that has nothing in mind but the search for the truth, he is no Islamophobic hate monger or a Saudi backed academic.

It is almost amazing that such an educated man would not know what kind of storm would follow his suggestion, it is virtually impossible to criticize Islam in any way, in any form and on any platform, the rage and death threats that follow each publication of any notion about Islam that is out of the conventional is a testimony to that. It must have been clear to Holland that such anger would follow, and it looks like he prepared for it by interviewing Dr Seyyed Hossein Nasr (professor of Islamic studies, George Washington University) who quickly and in a dry manner slaughters any of Holland’s ideas (this is roughly 5 minutes into the documentary) by saying no non Muslim can understand the historical roots of the religion, end of story. Holland gets back to good Dr Seyyed to get his blessing just before the program closes, and asks how should he present his arguments to the public, to which he gets a fluffy, foggy, “honesty is good” type of answer.

And indeed, once the show was on it got it fair share of rage and anger, as anything Islam related does, with the regular and boring “outrage” believers feel when confronted with a thoughtful and deep research presented by a scholar who knows much more about their origins than themselves. The foundation of faith are not to be shaken, even if those foundations might be built on political lies and deception 1,400 years old.

“Cultural Reasons” Now Enough to Oppress Women

September 4, 2012 by 2 Comments

Cant Shake – Wont Shake? Religion gets in the way of civilized manner in the Paralympics

The Iranian athlete Mehrdad Karam Zadeh won a medal in the Paralympics, however when he got to the ceremony he snubbed the Duchess of Cambridge and refused to shake her hand for what he called “cultural reasons”.

This is a good chance for everyone to examine the culture that will not let her members shake hands with a girl. A culture that locks its members in a tightly sealed pre constructed set of rules so that they will be guaranteed to be sexually oppressed by the age they reach sexual maturity.

The same culture encourages the oppression of females, the treatment as second class and as being less worthy then the men around them. It is a wonder that this culture even lets athletes go and compete in the name of fairness and sportsmanship, of a truly international human spirit, since it is not about stretching human abilities to the maximum but about the striving towards global religious domination.

When we think of most Muslim young men around the world it seems to shake hands with a woman such as England’s Kate would be the least of their troubles, it might actually help to have a feminine touch to “this culture”.

Egyptian Islamic Association Fights the Tomato

Religious Vegetable Wars

The Islamic war against vegetables (and reason) seems to be going on in full gear, it was some time ago that we reported the Islamic suggestion to ban bananas and cucumbers for their potential sexiness, and now it seems that a lady saw the prophet (Mohammad) in her dream sobbing and tell her to tell believers that the tomato is a “Christian fruit”.

And is it not sheer joy that not only vegetables are now assigned a religious identity, but also that the prophet now makes appearances in dreams, just like Jesus who comes and visits every now and again, and for good reasons – not to ask that people will not be put to death in the name of religion, or that Muslims should stop fighting and killing themselves (or any one else), but the prime concern for the now-in-hevean-relexing-prophet is to cry over people eating tomatoes – which were created along all other vegetables by the almighty.

The combination of ignorance and boredom produces laughable, insane theories which expose religion to the reality of what it is – and what it had become, an always worried, paranoid group of people who consistently look for more ways to try and distinguish themselves from others.

Not All Burqas Are Equal

April 3, 2012 by 2 Comments

This video speaks so loud for itself that it seems that there is no need to add words here, however – for the sake of making this perfectly clear… lets say a few things.

Notice how enraged the non burqa wearing man gets, only for assuming that the person under that black curtain is not a woman and maybe not even be Muslim. This fine group of Australian people have come up with a brilliant way of exposing some of what people in the Muslim community actually think – and that it is only permissible to wear a burqa if you are of the Muslim faith, and that if you are a Muslim woman no one is allowed to even question that right, however if you are not Muslim and not a woman you are not allowed to wear this clothing.

Also note how the angry young man is saying to one of the guys in the burqa “don’t tell us what to do” while no one is telling him how to act or what to do, he is the one that, for some reason, thinks that just because he does not like a non muslim australian man to wear a black piece of cloth and walk around the city that his forefathers built anyone would be forced to comply.

This is a sad testimony to how far things have developed in many counties around the world where many muslims believe that it is the duty of western society to please them and comply with any of their stone age wishes, too bad for them that some people are smart enough to expose that.

The Fine Print of the Arab Protest

Not An Arab March - But Islamic March on Jerusalem

Today the news tell us that Israel is bracing itself for the coming of thousands of Arab protestors up to its boarders with Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. If you pay attention to the fine print you will soon understand that the word “Arab” is not correct here, it should have been “Muslim” protest, not an Arab one.

Arabs come in many shapes and colors, under different religions (Arab Christians, Arab Jews) and they span across a huge area that can not define, under one word, almost anything besides maybe “human”.

Thousands of Muslim protestors are planning to reach the boarders of Israel for a “March on Jerusalem” day, to mark the taking away of Muslim sovereignty by the Jewish state, note that they are not doing a march for peace, or a march for the equal and fair distribution of land between ethnic groups, they are marching to a religious city under the flag of taking it back to their religion.

There is no “march for equality” because it already exists, Israeli Arabs enjoy democratic rights and privileges that most of their brothers in the Muslim/Arab countries just next door do not have (see Syria and about 10,000 killed over a few months), there is no “March for splitting this area between Jews and Muslims” because this is not the goal of Muslims, as instructed under Islam, any place that was once governed by Islam should return to Muslim law.

And most of all, this is not a Palestinian protest, but a pan Islamic one, because it holds in it everything that is the base for the objection to the very existence to the state of Israel – Muslim faith and holy books.
