Hamza Kashgari Has Twitter Suicidal Tendencies

Life and Death on Twitter

This story involves a blogger, two Islamic countries, about 8,000 Saudi avid Twitter users who want this blogger alive and 28,000 Facebook users who want him dead – and one prophet.

Looks like Mr. Kashgari, a Saudi blogger, did not think much before he decided to send out a couple of twits about the Islamic prophet Mohammad, he thought that publishing a series of “thoughts” about Islam and its prophet will go unnoticed and unpunished, however he discovered that soon enough there were many calling to execute him for his words.

He fled the country and made a try to get to New Zealand, only to be stopped in Malaysia and sent back home, isn’t it great how fast Islamic countries react when it is some words about some prophet, while rapists and murderers roam the streets without any problem?

Now Saudi Arabia faces a new type of a problem, do you execute this young man over the use of an internet platform to publish his mere thoughts about Mohammad, or to concede to the growing pressure to let this man go. In the past we have seen that the system to deal with this is usually to lock him away in some dark room and wait until everyone forgets about him – and execute him, or could be that just to make a stand they will execute him as soon as they can.

And what exactly did he say? well – here it is –

“I will say that I have loved aspects of you, hated others, and could not understand many more.”

When Religions Drift Away

December 17, 2011 by Leave a Comment

One of the sad thing about religions is that once they embrace the core principles of the belief they continue to evolve, sometimes creating next to insane ideas on the way. We have already seen that in the case of the Cairo crazed religious leader who simply told females to stop touching cucumbers and other penis like vegetables (check it out on the post don’t touch the vegetables) and on several other cases.

Although this is primarily done in the Muslim world these days one can not say that Christianity and Judaism are lacking on the insanity department, and if we would post each and every time some crazy piece of news regarding some crazed religious guy telling others what they should do we would probably have to post a hundred times a day, so we pick only the ones that are truly spectacular.

And so we get to current day Islam, which is a 1,600 year old religion stuck in the year 2011 (soon to be 2012) and acting as if nothing has changed over the last few hundred years, causing many of its religious speakers to pay a lot of attention on things that are not only irrelevant but also pretty stupid. This time we see a Muslim telling others that just by saying “Happy Christmas” to others they are committing a terrible offense against Islam, he goes on to explain that notion.

However terrible saying something as innocent and banal as “Merry Christmas” one can not think of the really terrible things done by Muslims every day, around the world, to their bothers and sisters (I mean other Muslims) as well as non Muslims, we are talking blood red violence and not just saying a 2 word greeting to someone else, but this is not something many Muslims pay attention to, they rather focus on how to insult their host cultures (in this case it is clearly filmed in the U.K) than to spend an hour discussing why Islam has ended up being the worlds most brutal religion.

Merry Christmas!

No Bikini in the New Egypt

December 13, 2011 by Leave a Comment

“We love truism, but hate foreigners” welcome to the new Egypt.

The new plan is to force tourists to adapt to Islamic values, including a ban on bikinis and mixed beaches, and of course not a drop of alcohol. To be honest it does make sense, a country that wants to keep a tight religious cover, weather we like it or not, should probably want to keep people who are not aligned with that mindset away, but Egypt is a little different because it has so much riding on tourism and especially that kind that comes from Europe and very much likes its vacations to be soaked in alcohol.

So this brings the first cultural clash to this new democracy, will it let foreigners do what they do and count on its own people to keep a religious way of life or will it force visitors as well as locals to abide by the rule of Islam. Needless to say that forcing anyone into anything is probably something democracies should not have, especially if it is done in the name of a non existent god.

Murder Is Never Out of Style (In Some Minds)

December 7, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Its Been A While Since Islam Let Live your Life

As you can probably guess this blog stands firmly for the right of anyone to express himself, and the right of anyone else to be offended by it, and that’s just as much words we need to waste on this obvious issue. So it was somewhat of a surprise to see the name Lars Vilks in the news, the immediate emotion was fear, fear that some crazy Islamist has murdered Mr. Vilks for his cartoon, almost 6 years ago, but it was not that, just the news of 3 people getting together to try and murder him for the same thing.

6 Years! come on, there must be an expiration date for being offended by a cartoon. Seems that the eagerness to murder and kill infidels is stronger that many other things, and if there is an excuse for it, why, that is almost crazy to resist.

These are people who do not move on, they a obsessive fixated on the sixth century, some 1,400 years ago, in the desert of Arabia. To waste your time plotting to murder a cartoonist who, six years ago, published a cartoon that made you angry.

Just the degree of seriousness on this issue should alarm anyone who is anywhere close to being normal.

Don’t Touch the Vegetables

December 7, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Read this and you will never look at a salada the same way again

Oh, for the love of god, don’t touch the vegetables!

Its good to see how much time religious leaders take to be inspired by very old pornographic ideas, and much more – to see how they react to that. So some religious person in Cairo just found out that a couple of vegetables can seem, to a very juvenile and hormonal filled mind, resemble the male penis form and from here, well, it is really unfair to attack this religion over and over again for being stuck in a mind set of the stone age.

So god almighty, this perfect and wonderful being, who loves those who believe in him but wants all the rest to part from their heads, created some humble and honest vegetables and some nasty sexy vegetables to see if the human females would try and use them as replacements for the real thing – which is in no shortage in the world.

The sexually repressed nation of Islam can not help but obsessing about females trying to break free from the stone age restraints and making love – even to vegetables, it is no wonder that they cover their women from top to bottom and lock them in houses. With that kind of treatment it will be no wonder if some girls turn to a relationship with cucumbers and bananas.
