Wonder How Does the Syrian Cease Fire Looks?

April 12, 2012 by Leave a Comment

Why its pretty simple – a short video uploaded just 2 hours ago shows the city of Homes in Syria, and just in that one minute of footage it is pretty easy to see and hear that there is not much of a cease fire.

4 dead today in Syria, all while this cease fire is in effect.

Lessons Learned From Syria

April 11, 2012 by Leave a Comment

The one year old events in Syria have a grave lesson to teach anyone who loves freedom and thinks that humanity, in its 2012 version, will move in to protect people under oppressive rules. The ongoing slaughter in Syria is a clear indication that to aspire for help, form the west or from any other place on the globe, is false hope.

Kofi Annan had just concluded a visit to Syria, where he thought that the regime promised a cease fire with the rebels, however as soon as he left, and even more so, as soon as this cease fire should have been in effect the fighting only grow stronger. Maybe “fighting” is not the right word here, where combat helicopters are shooting missiles designed to penetrate tanks at unarmed civilians.

It seems that there is no limit to the level of insults Assad’s Syria is capable at hurling at the international community, and even to the Arab league, that obscure body of Arab leaders who sometimes get together to make mostly financial decisions. This time Assad has spat in the face of the UN (but seriously, no one takes offense to that), the mediators from Qatar, and the Arab league.

And as the former UN secretary left the country feeling he had made a difference, the Syrian army pounded cities with a brutal force killing more than 100 people on Tuesday alone. One can only imagine the outrage that would have been sparked worldwide if it was Israel doing the same – only that when it is old Muslim on Muslim violence anything goes, just like it was in good-old Assad’s father day when he massacred the sunni minority in his country.

The Fine Print of the Arab Protest

March 30, 2012 by Leave a Comment

Not An Arab March - But Islamic March on Jerusalem

Today the news tell us that Israel is bracing itself for the coming of thousands of Arab protestors up to its boarders with Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. If you pay attention to the fine print you will soon understand that the word “Arab” is not correct here, it should have been “Muslim” protest, not an Arab one.

Arabs come in many shapes and colors, under different religions (Arab Christians, Arab Jews) and they span across a huge area that can not define, under one word, almost anything besides maybe “human”.

Thousands of Muslim protestors are planning to reach the boarders of Israel for a “March on Jerusalem” day, to mark the taking away of Muslim sovereignty by the Jewish state, note that they are not doing a march for peace, or a march for the equal and fair distribution of land between ethnic groups, they are marching to a religious city under the flag of taking it back to their religion.

There is no “march for equality” because it already exists, Israeli Arabs enjoy democratic rights and privileges that most of their brothers in the Muslim/Arab countries just next door do not have (see Syria and about 10,000 killed over a few months), there is no “March for splitting this area between Jews and Muslims” because this is not the goal of Muslims, as instructed under Islam, any place that was once governed by Islam should return to Muslim law.

And most of all, this is not a Palestinian protest, but a pan Islamic one, because it holds in it everything that is the base for the objection to the very existence to the state of Israel – Muslim faith and holy books.

Foreign Journalists Begging Help From Homs Syria

February 23, 2012 by Leave a Comment

In this video from today in Homs Syria you can see and hear journalists working for the French newspaper “La Figaro” and “Times” asking for urgent medical assistance and request to be evacuated to the Lebanon boarder, the video starts in French and followed by Arab (the physician who is taking care of the wounded journalists), in minute 02:01 they move to English.

These journalists have been in the same place with the 2 French journalists who were killed yesterday, this could mean that someone is targeting those foreign media representatives and trying to slaughter them and stop news coming out of that place.

There is nothing much to explain about this video – it is a plea – almost begging, to get those people out of there, maybe just so they could be saved or maybe just so they will tell us the truth of what is going on in this city that now seems like going to be turned into a massive killing field.

We rarely ask this of our readers but – Please forward this, share this, use this video to forward to as many people you can, it is very possible that in the minute or two you have been reading this more lives were crashed in Homs, this needs to stop, for the sake of humanity.
