Obama’s Pax Americana

A visitor from the 80s’, merely 30 years ago, would have been amazed at the stories newspapers tell today, the U.S. is making peace with Cuba which for some reason was left as an enemy while normal relations with Russia had been restored 20 years ago. The small island nation somehow managed to maintain its social revolution way longer then the mother country and also carried its obligatory title as the enemy of the American people.

President Obama takes care of this one, and as his term as president nears a close he is moving all the pieces so relations with Cuba are restored. However one must wonder if this change will really change the day to day reality of the simple Cuban teenager who is pimped daily for what many Americans would consider lunch money, or to the Cuban young man how is harassing tourists along the beach for a couple of green dollars.

With all the above criticism of the current U.S. president Cuba is actually a normal move, it is right in reach of the American continent, it is almost Miami’s closest city. It is the moves in the Muslim world that Obama makes that should raise concerns, mainly due to the lack of any sense of those moves – apart from one – letting someone else do the dirty work.

A long time ago president Obama choose to address the Arab Muslim nations by rushing to Cairo for his first speech, many thought this signaled that the man himself was a Muslim and a member of the Muslim brotherhood, however now Obama is busy courting the “other side” of Islam – the Shia Muslims. He had given up on his Sonni Muslim, many of whom are long lasting American allies like Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and turned to the Iranians (not Arabs but Persians) for what can only be seen as desperate cooperation.

Somehow all of this can be told as a simple story, the Americans want order, they thought that the Sonni Muslims could provide it but it failed and now they are trying with the Shia Muslims in hope that Iran carries more weight than its previous allies. The only problems here are that both sides of the Muslim world are hostile to each other – and that everyone is aware of this American “dance”, which makes this kind very awkward.

Politics Religion and Sex – What a Great Combo

Hi, Those Jews Are Spreading Homosexuality Dust around us!

It seems that the Iranians never stop producing all type of statements that reveal the inner working of a fanatical religious regime that is obsessed with branding good and wrong, god approved and satan’s work. This time Iran accuses Israeli “zionists” of “spreading” homosexuality around the world.

How wrong can anyone thinking that a sexual orientation can be “spread” and moved from one person to the next can be?, how could you even start to explain the basics of human sexuality to these kind of people. The tendency to label homosexuality as something that is invented, or a disease of some sort that can be cured and passed is not new to the Iranians, they have been busy hanging their own gays for many years now, and always finding the proper reasons for it, for example one will be hard pressed to find that someone was hanged because he was gay, but because he did terrible sexual things (sometimes, they go as far as to say it was done to children), the same tactic is used by the regime on Jews, they are not arrested for being Jewish but for being spies for Israel.

The religious persecution is in this case mixed with the religious ordered hatred of Jews, attached to a non traditional sexual orientation the Iranians condition their supporters to see anyone who is not them as one big bad block of humanity. It is sad and appalling that in this time and age wild fantasy like this could be harbored by people how are simultaneously developing atomic weapons.

“Cultural Reasons” Now Enough to Oppress Women

Cant Shake – Wont Shake? Religion gets in the way of civilized manner in the Paralympics

The Iranian athlete Mehrdad Karam Zadeh won a medal in the Paralympics, however when he got to the ceremony he snubbed the Duchess of Cambridge and refused to shake her hand for what he called “cultural reasons”.

This is a good chance for everyone to examine the culture that will not let her members shake hands with a girl. A culture that locks its members in a tightly sealed pre constructed set of rules so that they will be guaranteed to be sexually oppressed by the age they reach sexual maturity.

The same culture encourages the oppression of females, the treatment as second class and as being less worthy then the men around them. It is a wonder that this culture even lets athletes go and compete in the name of fairness and sportsmanship, of a truly international human spirit, since it is not about stretching human abilities to the maximum but about the striving towards global religious domination.

When we think of most Muslim young men around the world it seems to shake hands with a woman such as England’s Kate would be the least of their troubles, it might actually help to have a feminine touch to “this culture”.

What Darkness Looms Ahead for Israel?

April 8, 2012 by Leave a Comment

In this past few years there has been a live, global, debate over the Iranian nuclear program and its potential meaning Israel, however this, as we all discover, is not the biggest threat to this country – but its own ignorant and anti democratic government and ministers.

The German celebrated author Gunter Grass had published a song that implies that Israel is the real threat to Iran and not the other way around, his song might suggest that Israel, with its vast nuclear arsenal of weapons is more a danger to Iran than Iran is to Israel. This is not the first time that a writer causes a minor disturbance by voicing a somewhat nothing to do with reality concern (since it is exclusively Iran that consistently calls for the destruction of Israel and promises its demise), but here this guy gets some special treatment for Israel’s interior minister, Eli Yishai.

Eli Yishai is Israel’s interior minister, he is the head of a movement which prides itself as a Sfaradi Jewish traditionalists, and of which a few prominent figures have spent, or are currently spending, some time in Israel penitentiaries as penalties for corrupt behavior. There is little doubt that Yishai is learned in the rules and laws of the Jewish religion, however he seems to have not taken any of this democratic ideas to heart.

And Mr. Yishai has decided that since Mr. Grass had published his legitimate opinion over Israel, in a poem that he wrote, that he will not be allowed to visit Israel and will be considered a persona non grata. In a move that is outrageously ignorant and unimaginably dangerous the (no less than) minister of interior of the state of Israel is banning someone because of his opinion, oh the dark future that looms over Israel if this man continues to dictate his totalitarian bolshevism and bars important voices from singing out in Israel.

What Is More Dangerous For Israel- Iranian Nukes or Eli Yishai

Oil Leaks in Iran’s Sand Clock

January 24, 2012 by Leave a Comment

Looks like time is running out for Iran and its plans for nuclear weapons, the EU has declared it will put in effect an oil embargo if they Iranians do not come back to their senses. The European counters involved are not the largest consumers of Iranian oil, however this declaration brings tensions around Iran to a new peak.

Iran prepares as the value of money drops

The average Iranian citizen must be going nuts by now, the local currency is dropping fast than ever, and people are stocking food and basic products for a coming war, it seems that everyone in the world does not now what the Iranian people know already, that this is not going to end on the negotiating table.

You should trust the Iranian (people, not the government) because they have been through enough to learn when something is real, and they know that the religious regime that is leading this country into a living catastrophe will not fold, defiantly not now, after it has managed to fool the entire world into giving more and more time to the development of nuclear capabilities, about 6 years now. The people know that the goal of having “the bomb” is not so much the destruction of Israel (however that might come in time) but the ability of using this winning card against all of Iran’s neighbors in setting oil quotas and limiting competition.

So we have a strange situation where most of the pressure to go after Iran is currently produced by its Arab neighboring countries and not Israel, and a Europe that is starting to grasp the fact that one day soon they will have to wake up with the threat of Iranian nuclear weapons landing in Western Europe.

In the next post – “will they press the button?”
