Murder Is Never Out of Style (In Some Minds)

December 7, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Its Been A While Since Islam Let Live your Life

As you can probably guess this blog stands firmly for the right of anyone to express himself, and the right of anyone else to be offended by it, and that’s just as much words we need to waste on this obvious issue. So it was somewhat of a surprise to see the name Lars Vilks in the news, the immediate emotion was fear, fear that some crazy Islamist has murdered Mr. Vilks for his cartoon, almost 6 years ago, but it was not that, just the news of 3 people getting together to try and murder him for the same thing.

6 Years! come on, there must be an expiration date for being offended by a cartoon. Seems that the eagerness to murder and kill infidels is stronger that many other things, and if there is an excuse for it, why, that is almost crazy to resist.

These are people who do not move on, they a obsessive fixated on the sixth century, some 1,400 years ago, in the desert of Arabia. To waste your time plotting to murder a cartoonist who, six years ago, published a cartoon that made you angry.

Just the degree of seriousness on this issue should alarm anyone who is anywhere close to being normal.

Don’t Touch the Vegetables

December 7, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Read this and you will never look at a salada the same way again

Oh, for the love of god, don’t touch the vegetables!

Its good to see how much time religious leaders take to be inspired by very old pornographic ideas, and much more – to see how they react to that. So some religious person in Cairo just found out that a couple of vegetables can seem, to a very juvenile and hormonal filled mind, resemble the male penis form and from here, well, it is really unfair to attack this religion over and over again for being stuck in a mind set of the stone age.

So god almighty, this perfect and wonderful being, who loves those who believe in him but wants all the rest to part from their heads, created some humble and honest vegetables and some nasty sexy vegetables to see if the human females would try and use them as replacements for the real thing – which is in no shortage in the world.

The sexually repressed nation of Islam can not help but obsessing about females trying to break free from the stone age restraints and making love – even to vegetables, it is no wonder that they cover their women from top to bottom and lock them in houses. With that kind of treatment it will be no wonder if some girls turn to a relationship with cucumbers and bananas.

Tahrir Square Got Dark Secrets

December 6, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Now that the elections in Egypt are over, we can look back at the symbol of the popular uprising that started that whole Arab Spring thing, Tahrir Square. While there are probably many who have fond memories of the place, a couple of women have very bad ones, starting with Lara Logan that was nearly murdered at the same place as people were celebrating the departure of the former president of Egypt.

This country is so big and its population so massive that the square in Cairo is a microcosms of it, and while some crazy fanatics try to rape and butcher a woman in one corner others celebrate what they think is the the beginning of democracy in the country. However now we see that Egypt is much closer to the raping and murdering corner than it is to a democracy and equality, not to say that all Egyptians behave like this towards women but there is a clear problem here.

So it was of no surprise that French journalist Caroline Sinz was attacked in the same way Logan was, and nearly killed on the same spot. The only conclusion Western media had to draw from this was that the current ambiance in Egypt is not one that would accept a woman in any role, and that right now it is best to be a Muslim man in this country, well played.

Blogger Aliaa Magda El Mahdy saw this coming a mile away, and protested before she could be placed in prison for all kind of religious accusations, but she did not anticipate the reaction of the crowds to her actions, very much like everyone else she thought that the radicalism is concentrated in the heart of the religious establishment, but she faced a different reality when confronted with supporters of those religious forces in Tahrir Square, where she was beaten by an angry crowd and made to leave for fear of her life.

As we wait to see how the struggle of forces in Egypt begins, with religious parties winning 65% of the votes (we got to wonder how many women voters participated in this election) it looks like the country is heading into a full blown Sharia law state, however the country faces such difficulties that it would not matter much if the ruling party would have been secular or religious, its of vital importance that someone starts making solid decisions in Egypt.

News Say There Is No Santa – Only to Say Sorry Later

December 5, 2011 by Leave a Comment

This is just another page in the long book of this insane world, while in Syria owning an iPhone could get you into serious trouble (like life threatening trouble) in Chicago saying that there is no Santa on a news television channel could cause a lot of troubles by itself.

Would it make sense to you if a fighter pilot would say he refuses to fly over Chicago from the 20th of December each year because he is afraid to crash into Santa with his F16 fighter jet?, what would you think of a coworker who turns down an invitation to go out to do dinner with friends because he wants to sit and wait till Santa falls through the chimney with his gifts?

Seriously, why even get into that, there is not even a tight religious connection between Santa and Christianity, just check out the Catholic tradition of Saint Nicholas who does the same exact thing as Santa but on a different days (and also looks pretty different too). So believing in Santa does not make you religious, it makes you childish and immature, like believing that the moon is made out of cheese.

News anchor Robin Robinson of Fox News Chicago made the mistake of connection the dots and telling it as it is, Santa is used as a commercial Viagra and as a marketing tool to boost sales and make kids believe that they can get anything they want from their parents, which is not so great, especially when you consider the financial meltdowns of the previous months.

The only complaint I can really sympathize with is that young kids could, by mistake, watch Fax News and learn that there is no Santa, that could spoil a lot of the fun, but on the other hand, no one wants to be the last kid in class to find out that there is no Santa, better sooner than later.

Athlete’s Foot Again? Jesus Christ!

November 22, 2011 by Leave a Comment

The news from Pakistan is so ridiculous that we did not even know if to post this or not, however it looks like this is getting so much attnetion that someone needs to speak on behalf of the non believers.

Cutting to the chase, Pakistan wants to ban the use of certain “offensive” words from use on mobile phones, needlessly to say these are words someone in Pakistan finds offensive, because just the idea of not letting people speak particular words is so “1984” that even a stone age thinker might find himself seriously objecting to the idea, somehow this passes in Pakistan.

“Jesus Christ” made it to the list without effort, see, some in Pakistan believe that just saying those words is offensive. And one needs to imagine what would they do if tomorrow a couple of countries will declare Bambi as their god they will ban that word as well, flexing the boarder of their sensitivity to the boundaries of other nations imagination.

Why “Athlete’s foot” is offensive I do not know, it sure is offensive to someone sleeping in the same room/tent/car with a person with this condition, however once again we  remember the keen fondness of Muslims around the world to pass critical judgment on those who are simply born a certain way or are afflicted with a certain condition, even athlete feet.

Happy feet? Jesus Christ!
