The Other Side of Occupy Wall Street

October 9, 2011 by Leave a Comment

After the first post “we are the 99%” some felt they needed to tell me how this protest has another, pretty nasty, side to it, and unfortunately they are right. Some of the people in this protest are expressing racist views (not only about Jews by the way) and are holding opinions that should have been gone from the world long ago.

The idea that all Jews are rich is not only plain stupid and racist, it is also wrong. For those who are not aware of it, the idea of the tents in wall street came from Israel, where an overwhelming 25% of the population went out to demonstrate because they can not afford to buy a place to live in (meaning they can not find an affordable home in any part of the country) so it looks like many Jews in Israel are not rich, actually it looks like they are poor.

While the anger towards Wall Street and the banks is (at least) somewhat justified the tendency of finding whole groups who profit from the suffering of others belongs to the bloody human history, and is deeply rooted there. The fact that new left wing liberals are now becoming the new fascists is troubling enough, add to this the easy solution of finger pointing and blaming the Jews and you get history rewritten, with only 60+ years separating us from the actual events.

No Jews in the Palestinian State

September 20, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Last week this hit the news, did not make a lot of noise, and then backfired as people said it was misinterpreted and not surprisingly went back to its original form. Confused? of course. Last week the PLO (the guys who ran the Palestinian government) declared that the future Palestinian state will not want to have Jews as citizens, this was not an inflammatory remark but rather a common sense kind of thing to the ambassador, since he said “both religions” are immersed in a battle for the last hundred years maybe it makes perfect sense to just separate the two and start by kicking out any Jews from the Palestinian state.

One little embarrassing fact is that this is racism, from the same people who accuse Israel of being an Apartheid state (which is untrue, all Israeli citizens have full and equal rights). To be kicked out of a country because of your religion is not something the U.S. (who’s Palestinian ambassador thought it would be so intelligent to make a remark about the Jews) or Europe’s countries like to hear.

To be kind to the Palestinians we should mention that fanatical Jews that live in the West bank and elsewhere in Israel would probably say the same thing about Israel and its Muslims, however these are only a couple of thousands of people in Israel, compared to the vast majority of the Palestinian people, who continuously move back in time towards Islamization.

Mel Gibson and His Jewish Hero

September 13, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Even though Mel Gibson has shown himself to the world, on a couple of occasions, to be a Jew hating racist as well as a having very strong opinions about women and African American, it is almost a shame to point out that his latest declaration of going on to produce a movie about Judah the Maccabee is just another step towards messing up, once again.

Gibson, a film maker who had won awards for his work in the past, should really focus on making bloody and ultra violent movies his audience likes, ones he can play the hero and do his trademark eyes rolling bit when the character is torn to pieces by barbaric opponents. Any film about the Maccabees opposition movement in Israel some 2,000+ years ago would need to go into many other aspects of the opposition to the Hellenistic conquering army and to the way these radical Jews treated their own people in forcing them to oppose Hellenistic culture.

The hero in this case did not only lead a war against a rising empire (and win) but also conducted child kidnapping in order to circumcise Jewish children (and sometimes adults) who did not have the procedure done on them because their parents adopted the Hellenic way of life, he also murdered Jews who turned away from religion and forced many back, this is a guy who was very much much like a local Taliban leader in modern day Afghanistan, the only thing to his credit (and to the shame of modern day Muslim countries) is that he was alive 2,300 years ago, when you were expected to behave as a barbarian.

Gibson’s movie about Jesus Christ, in which he deliberately set the middle east on fire by handing Muslims a movie that clearly states that the Jews who lived 2,000 years ago were OK with any Jews in the future suffering the punishment for what they did, thus it is completely alright to kill Jews today, because their distant possible relatives from 2,000 years ago say so in Mel Gibson’s movie.

Looks like whatever he does, he ends up slandering Jews, maybe he should try and make a movie about women’s rights…

Fanatical Jews in the West Bank

September 8, 2011 by Leave a Comment

A couple of days ago we mentioned Israeli settlers in the West Bank vandalizing a mosque and spray painting graffiti over its walls, now it seems that they apply the same principle to Israel’s army barracks in the same piece of land.

These Israeli settlers are more like fanatical Jews who believe that god wants them to fight and beat the Arabs Muslims and as a result they behave like a mini version of fascism, why mini you ask? well, they are a minority in this region, the mainstream Israeli seem to dislike them almost as much as the Palestinian they insult and bother.

And once again it is only because of religious dogma that Muslims can be treated this way, but in our case it is the Israeli, mainly Jewish, Army that was attacked, bu Jews… confusing right?, well not so much, since they believe that the Jewish god is clearly against anyone who is not with them, including Jews.

Same treatment as Muslim, Israeli Fanatical Religious burns everything

Rabbi Fails to Deliever Miracle & Gets Killed

August 3, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Israel is a strange country, it’s one of the most difficult puzzles to anyone who is a non-believer or atheist, this is the country of the Jewish people, if you’re Jewish you will be accepted there (however criminals and people with issues are not automatically let in).

One of the things they say about Israel (I think it was Sam Harris that said it once) is that the problem is that its not a country that is dedicated to a religion but rather a religion that has been forced to confine itself in one country that would not systematically abuse an ethnic or religious group, in simple words the state of Israel was created so Jews could have one place that does not repeatedly murder and abuse them.

So we all know that Israel is the land of the Jews, but do not expect to see a lot of Rabbi’s dressed in black when you’re in the airport, Israel is a secular democracy with a majority of non religious Jews. Many of the secular Jews call themselves “traditional” because the keep the main holidays, and that is all they do. Many others have little or nothing to do with the religion and you will find life in the big cities of Israel to be very much like any other western city, even on the Sabbath.

The news out of Israel in the last week told of a great Rabbi that had been murdered by a visitors, a man who met with the Rabbi to ask him to help out in some martial problems had waited a couple of months for the miracle to work, when it did not he decided that he will pay a visit to the old Rabbi and kill him for his false promises (even though its almost certain that nothing had been ever promised).

This is one of the things that makes it very difficult for an atheist to overlook, people who are not “really” religious visit a very religious individual, many times with some sort of offering, like a donation or even direct payment for the time and services, in hope that the “holy” person will proceed to pray and work miracles for them and their needs. How profane can that be, on both sides, to have one even suggest that he can perform miracles, and for the other to shortcut his way into a better position, leveraging the good ranking the Rabbi has with the almighty.

And when you act like humans did thousands of years ago, visiting a shaman or a sage to have a better life, offering them compensation in return and expecting miracles to happen, it also makes perfect sense to punish the shaman if he does not deliver, not only what he might promise or suggest, but also if he fails to deliver what was expected subjectively of him. So a punishment of stabbing someone to death as punishment for not fulfilling his duty makes perfect sense if you try and think 2,500 years back.

One final word about this Rabbi, he was a grandson of one of the better known Kabalist Rabbis of Israel, and continued to do the same as his grandfather did, which is mostly helping the community and learning the bible, these people are not the rich preachers of the U.S. and most of them live in very modest homes and humble lifestyles. This man really did try to help out people, he spent a lot of time seeing and meeting people with problems, it is only a shame that instead of dropping god and the ancient books or yore he did not turn to the light and learned psychology or medicine to really help people progress.

Rabbi Abuhatzeira funeral last week
