Israel and Its Problems

March 21, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Israel has got to be a problem for any atheist out there. A country that has been formed around one religion with the express idea of having it as a safe place for all Jews to come to is one that should be almost ridiculous to anyone who has no faith or does not accepts religion dogma. Its almost like you would have “Pinocchio land” for all of those who believe in the story and want to live by it (praising whales, never burning wood furniture and so on).

On the other hand this country was formed as a result of mass genocide that has lasted for hundreds of years in almost any country around the world in one form or another, and which resulted in the systematic mass murder of the European Jewish population by the Nazis. Mass murder is not stranger to humans, it is believed that this kind of killing started with the dawn of man, and Jews are not the only ones who have been persecuted and killed, there were many other nations (that disappeared because of it) and many modern nations have been through this, however Jews are the only ones to have suffered a systematic, almost mechanic method of exterminating humans beings with the direct purpose to eliminate them and take advantage of anything the have or own. The state of Israel was established on the smoking ashes of millions of Jews and the global understanding that these people better have a country for themselves otherwise this thing could repeat itself.

Feeling hostility to Israel and what it stands for (Jewish state) is pretty normal from any atheist, but let us not forget the many Muslim states that have been there even before the Jewish state. These countries have not been established as a result of mass killing or persecution, but rather have been there as tribes who have evolved a sense of culture or common bloodline. And while Israel is a democracy that allows freedom of religion and expression, many Muslim states do not allow any new Churches or Synagogues built, and old ones can not be fixed or maintained, meaning that eventually there will be only Muslim masques.

Israel is a result of religious hatred and religious persecution over hundreds of years, it is a result of one nation that did not break even though it was exported out of its country and spread across half of the globe. Its people wanted to go back to their original land and practice their religion, as strange as it can sound to anyone who does not believe.

British Education

It is an assembly hall of the sort found in any ordinary school. Boys aged 11 and upwards sit cross-legged on the floor in straight rows. They face the front of the room and listen carefully. But this is no ordinary assembly. Holding the children’s attention is a man in Islamic dress wearing a skullcap and stroking his long dark beard as he talks.

‘You’re not like the non-Muslims out there,’ the teacher says, gesturing towards the window. ‘All that evil you see in the streets, people not wearing the hijab properly, people smoking . . . you should hate it, you should hate walking down that street.’

He refers to the ‘non-Muslims’ as the ‘Kuffar’, an often derogatory term that means disbeliever or infidel.

Praying for Atheists to Die – Not in Public

March 16, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Looks like the user that was ecstatic about Japanese dieing in the current disaster (due to all of them apparently being non believers) pulled that video (in shame?) and its not live any more. Makes my previous post about her praising god and thanking him for the earthquake as well as require when is this thing expected in the US a little silly.

Video Pulled

In any case, believers praying god to kill non beliebers does not sound like the right thing, if anything at all, they should pray for god to convert us.

Not going to happen.

Disaster in Japan, Oh Wait, Thanks God! :)

March 15, 2011 by Leave a Comment

There is a real and terrible disaster in Japan at this very moment, its evolving and getting bigger by the minute, the extent of human suffering is beyond anything words can describe. If you have a moment please consider donating via the Red Cross (yeah we are atheist but these people do help).

It is a normal thing that at a time like this people wonder about the existence of a supreme being that might have not stopped, or worst – even caused this catastrophe. To me it is clear that there is no one out there that pulls a plug and starts an earthquake, if it is at all possible I think humans will do it to each other before any deity will have this idea. God does not care for Japan just like he does not care about children born with AIDS or young girls dieing of cancer, it does not care if his believers are dieing or his non believers are dieing, it does not care because its not real, its man made and, unfortunately, holding on to the fear of that mighty terrible being is the only way some people can accept life.

While exploring the map of Japan and the areas worst affected by this natural disaster I stumbled upon a video that holds in it all that is bad in this world. It seems like a young woman is so excited about the death toll and human suffering that she taped a voice over of her self getting more and more excited about how god finally showed up to kill humans by the thousands, cause misery to many more and continue doing so, and all this because (appearance) she knows that everyone who suffered in this event is a non believer, oh thanks lord for killing all those Japanese non believes, we have been asking you to do this for so long and now you had some time off to deal with that.

Naturally if there were a couple of hundreds devoted followers of god, but not in the right form or version (lets say protestant, or Lutherans or Jews?) its perfectly OK that got killed. If a couple of thousands of those killed were believers of the same exact version this young woman of god then it really is OK because god planned for them to die anyway and they do this for him to prove he is so great, awesome! (hi, do we really care about babies dieing, its not like they are American or white)(of course we do, we are Christians, we love everyone, we turn the other cheek)(oh please god kill more non believers, leave this earth to us)(or maybe help me win the lottery this week?)

So here is the video of a super excited and (seemingly) happy young woman who loves Jesus Christ and his earth shaking abilities. If you are the one who made this video – shame on you, if there is a hell you have earned your place in it, your hate and anger are the opposite of anything good and right. If Christopher Hitichins reads this – you’re right, religion poisons everything.

Pure poison
