Iran Likes Revolutions, Hangs Protestors

February 17, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Wait!

Iran happy to hang protestors

That does not make sense, Iran politicians were pretty happy about the revolution and change in Egypt, as well as what looks like a beginning of protests in Bahrain, but somehow what’s good for other countries is not what is the preffered plan of action for Iran, so they just pick up the Iranians that are protesting and hang them up – problem solved.

What this should mean, to any free loving person out there, is that Iran is probably the most problematic place on earth (now that South Sudan is almost there), trying to get its reach and influence around its region, and in the same time brutally forcing its own population to submit to what seems like a very un-democratic state.

Eventualy, as we all know, there is no way to opress people without paying the price, in which case means that Iran will, one day, be free, the stronger they try and force it down the fast it will rise up. We should all admire the brave youth of Iran in their fight for equality and freedom.

Iran supports revolution outside - hanging inside

Lets Argue About Ancient Histroy – in Court

February 15, 2011 by Leave a Comment

It seems there is a legal process in Austria these days against a woman who does not like the teachings of Islam, who has read the book and learned the issues around it, and who has talked to other people about what she thinks it means.

I’m attaching some information about the day in court, not sure that it is an exact exrept of the legal discussion and the verdict, but I think this makes the whole thing very clear. Talking about what someone may or may have not wanted or might have done, when this someone is now dead for centuries, and attributing serious meaning to whatever is being said about that person (if he ever walked the face of earth) as well as the implications of any or every move he did or did not make… to me this is nuts.

Pay attention to the root of the discussion –

The judgment against the defendant is a €480 fine.

The judge second-guessed the Koran by saying Aisha was 18. She evidently noted that Aisha was 18 years old when Mohammed died, which is factual. The implication is that because he did not divorce her after she became above legal age, he was not a pedophile.

She says it’s not pedophilia, because Mohammed had no exclusive desire for underage girls; he wanted any female he could get his hands on.

By implication, the child marriages so prevalent in hardcore Islamic countries cannot be legally categorized as “pedophilia” either.

You can check it out in much more detail on The gates of Vienna which is a very serious blog about the dangers of Islam, and what seems to be a passionate advocate of freedom of speech, if this world would have 1,000 more like these bunch of bloggers, it will be a better place – not just right now but in the future.

Understand Islam

February 10, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Great video, but it lets the other religions off easy I think.

However there is a lot for the West to learn about Islam, some of it not so bad. However, woudnt it be much better without the belief that there is a god, and that this god orederd someone in a desert (once upon a time) to take his word to the world, this time as a final word with the choice of taking it on, or die.

Quickly Everyone Egypt Is for Grabs!

February 4, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Now it looks like everyone is trying to make the most out of the misery and the uprising of the middle class educated citizens of Egypt.

Among these you can find the religious Muslim brotherhood, and a quick peek into the mind of some of these people would scare even a left winged delusional student in the university of Berkley.

However, it seems lucky for the people of Egypt and all of the rest of the world, so far the most powerful voice in the demonstrations in Egypt is the voice of the simple citizen, the one who wants more freedom, more democracy, and better – honest financial system that moves the local economics.

In the meanwhile check out this interview on CNN (who, for some reason were not afraid to voice out an anti Muslim opinion… maybe they lost some advertisers lately?) which drives the point home, just listening this the person interviewed makes it very clear how dangerous religions in general are, and Islam in particular is right now.

Egypt – Fears of Religious Revolution Will Turn It Into One

January 31, 2011 by Leave a Comment

It is surprising that Egypt has been the focus of so much of our posts, but it is representative of something, and its no small thing.

Egypt is an important country, one that has deep roots in Islam, but also one that has a relatively big Christian community, and a tradition a secular non religious Arab population. The country geographic position in the middle east is of huge importance and its status as the first country to establish a full and lasting peace with Israel is, to some, a mark of its possibility as a leader in the Arab world.

The current situation in Egypt is fast become ripe with opportunity to the fanatics and extremists of our time, with fear mongering all around it. If you watch the demonstrations you will see how little of it is of any religious character, and how much it has to do with personal freedom and financial equality. If you would know nothing of this country you will (rightfully) assume that this is a popular revolution let by everyday people who just want , demand and deserve a better life.

But there are, always, some who want to make something out of anything, and these forces now work extra time to try and suggest that the political change in Egypt will drive Islam fundamentalists into power, which is something that does not look like is going to happen, and that this will threaten the safety of the region. It is just that, this exterior artificial power extracted in order to stop change because it is speculated to bring on difficult results, that will end by providing more power to the religious fanatics, and eventually drive the people into their hands.

Protests in Egypt - Encourage Freedom
Let the people of Egypt celebrate their unity, let them express their thoughts and frustration with the lack of proper democracy, let them try and build a better country for themselves, encourage freedom of speech, personal liberties, freedom of thought and expression, all of these do not go hand in hand with religious thought – and the generation that is making the change now in Egypt will remember that.
