The George Galloway Show

September 5, 2012 by Leave a Comment

This is one hell of a video right there. George Galloway, a British MP imploring an arab audience (of which nationality is unclear, but this is not about nationality but about religion) and teasing them to start what he calls a “revolution” in Saudi Arabia, when it seems much more like he is simply calling Arabs to start inflicting a Syrian like human suffering in Saudi Arabia.

Whenever the argument goes into a narrower path, he dangles the Americans and the Jews to the audience – because if the Americans and Jews are happy Arabs can not be, and if they are happy at the same time, well it means something is very wrong – according to Galloway.

It had only been a question of time when Galloway will go back to his  questionable support and love of the Syrian regime, he had been a true supporter in the past, only to have to twist and turn at the beginning of the Syrian violence (more than a year ago). Now it seems that he is back in full force, and with the ultimate weapon, the Palestinians. But the Palestinian argument is slowly fading away, even from Arab crowds. In the whole Israeli Palestinian conflict there was never a day-by-day bloodletting festival of violence as has been demonstrated in Syria. While generations of Syrians have been oppressed by a tribal and religious minority children in Gaza grow up without even once seeing an Israeli soldier.

So if we were to make a short summary of this video, and answer a simple question – “what does George Galloway, who is a British (and had never publicly claimed to be a Muslim) want from his Arab-Muslim audience?”, the answer should be clear, this man wants the same level of violence we are seeing in Syria to happen in Saudi Arabia. “Why would he want that?”, well your guess is as good as mine, but it seems that by the way he glorifies the Iranian regime and shows complete hate to the Saudi one that it must have something to do with Shi’a V Sunni Islam.

Why would they not make things more simple for us?, why wouldn’t George Galloway show up on stage, open up by saying that he is a Shi’a Muslim, that he comes to the stage not as a British national or MP, but as a bloodthirsty religious crazed individual who just wants to see Saudi blood in the streets for glory of his (and his friends) version of Islam. That would just make it easier to ignore the noise coming from his direction.

“Cultural Reasons” Now Enough to Oppress Women

September 4, 2012 by 2 Comments

Cant Shake – Wont Shake? Religion gets in the way of civilized manner in the Paralympics

The Iranian athlete Mehrdad Karam Zadeh won a medal in the Paralympics, however when he got to the ceremony he snubbed the Duchess of Cambridge and refused to shake her hand for what he called “cultural reasons”.

This is a good chance for everyone to examine the culture that will not let her members shake hands with a girl. A culture that locks its members in a tightly sealed pre constructed set of rules so that they will be guaranteed to be sexually oppressed by the age they reach sexual maturity.

The same culture encourages the oppression of females, the treatment as second class and as being less worthy then the men around them. It is a wonder that this culture even lets athletes go and compete in the name of fairness and sportsmanship, of a truly international human spirit, since it is not about stretching human abilities to the maximum but about the striving towards global religious domination.

When we think of most Muslim young men around the world it seems to shake hands with a woman such as England’s Kate would be the least of their troubles, it might actually help to have a feminine touch to “this culture”.

Migron Exposes Different Sides of Israeli Society

How Migron Became a defining Israel landmark

Israel has a complex population, its made of secular and religious Jews, a vast community of ex-Russian citizens and a large Muslim minority (that is also spilt between religious and secular). The difference among Israeli religious Jews can be as big as (if not larger) then the difference between two Americans living in both ends of the great continent.

Migron, a Israeli settlement, has been the cause of much trouble in the political scene in the last four months, the Israeli high court of justice decision to evacuate the settlement was the final one in a long line of legal disputes over the case. The Israeli government itself had gotten into rough waters over the case, and much of the composition on the parliament today is a result of the Migron affair.

In simple words, Israeli settlers have established themselves on land that is Palestinian owned, without permits or license, or any agreement on the side legal owners. The settlers did go into negotiations over purchase of the land and how to make it legally theirs, but they did not conclude these negotiations or reached an agreement with the Palestinian owners. All these are facts that have been known and true for many years now, it is only the recent few months activity that exposes the many different faces of Israeli society.

The Israel left, namely “Shalom Achshiv” (“Peace now”) had been one of the major forces to come to the aid of the Palestinian land owners in this case and help them find legal counseling as well as public recognition of their side of the story. The activists of this movement are (mostly, but not only) secular Jews who seek justice for an Arab Palestinian minority.

The settlers themselves took a side part in the whole affair, they have been clear from them very start that they would not let this situation get out of hand or escalate into violence of any kind (towards the Israeli police or the Palestinians who live around them), they have only expressed a deep and profound sorrow about leaving their homes and not being sure of what alternative they will be given by the government. A few days ago the settlers were evicted, and they did so without any kind of resistance or trouble to the authorities, in a way it was a “model eviction” – showing that even far right Israeli settlers can be as peaceful and law-abiding as anyone else.

Only the events of last night shed a different light on the matter, and show another dimension to the Migron affair, in what has been by now called “price tag operations” far right activists have vandalized a monastery near Latrun in Israel, in a way that is consistent with the state of mind of the religious fanatics that they are they sprayed the walls with offenses directed towards the virgin Marry and Jesus.

And there you have it – three sides to the Israeli society, left wing activists helping out Palestinians get the law to rule in their favor, religious violent activists who engage in a war of religion on anything non Jewish in the land of Israel, and Israeli religious settlers who are evicted peacefully out of their houses of 30 years.

Israel’s religious nut cases do not need much to go out and punish non Jews

Pakistan Blasphemy Case Plot Thickens

September 2, 2012 by 2 Comments

Ah – ha! The 11 year old did not burn the Koran. Does it Really Matter?

In an interesting twist of events, it looks like the Mullah who found the burned papers of the Koran in the 11 year old garbage bag – and called for her to be sentenced accordingly to the Pakistani law (which basically means she will be executed) might have planted those burned pages in the first place. This is an update on the Pakistan blasphemy case against a 11 year old Christian girl.

[sigh of relief]

Really? this is what we have gotten ourselves used to? We are so programmed to think that we need to respect the laws of a different country or culture that we follow them so tightly we need to hope that the victim would be found not guilty?, and guilty of what – if we might ask?.

Lets remember the charges here, an 11 year old Christian girl, who might be mentally challenged, had burned papers taken from the Koran in a garbage bag she was about to dump. How on earth would anyone expect this to be answered by a penalty of death?. How is the throwing away of a few papers concludes in death – or the threat of one? and why should we except it?

What is even worst is what is now discovered can shed a light on the state of mind of the Pakistani Mullahs, what we know as the medieval persecution of others for the sake of establishing a stronger religious hold on the population has reemerged in the present day, 2012, Pakistan. With Mullahs allegedly orchestrating “offenses” such as walking around with burned papers to remind the population that any diversion from the exact local version of Islam will end in death.

Pakistan seems to have gotten itself to a new low.

Egypt’s Last Synagogue Is Out of the Way

Egypt’s last Synagogue – The Writing is on the Wall

This piece of news should not be of any surprise for those who follow the wonders of the (so called) Arab spring and its meaning to non Muslims around the Arab world. It seems that the last working Synagogue of Alexandria was shut down by the authorities for “security reasons”, this authorities should indeed have concerns about personal security of Egyptians at this time, especially towards minorities (like the Christian Copts – who, by the way, used to be a vast majority of this ancient city), but even if Egypt’s true and honest concern is about the security of the Jewish minority at its last standing place of worship it should not be expressed by shutting it down.

Without getting into the basics of a democratic way of life, it should be clear that any self respecting democracy understands that it needs to respects the right and freedoms of minorities living in it, to protect it for the sake of democracy and to preserve the differences between people so that democracy is real. Egypt is far from any of this, with repeated attempts to destroy and annihilate any non Muslim religion within its boarders since the Muslim brotherhood came along it is now wiping out the last traces of a huge Jewish community in this country.

Jews have been a very big part of Egypt, its almost certain that if you dig deep enough into the roots of any respectable Alxandiraian family you will discover that before they turned to Islam they were Christian copts and before that – Jews.

The law that prohibits the reparation and new construction of any religious building (expect a Masque of course) Arab countries protect their rights to diminish non Muslims practicing religion in their country, this is an outrage – but it has been here for a long, long time. The new thing is the totalitarian approach to things, the “security” issues that “force” the authorities to close the Synagogue, if Egypt was really a democracy (which it is not) it would have gone into serious measures to make sure that any minority could celebrate its holidays in peace and safety, but these are obviously not the concerns of the Muslims in Egypt – not towards Jews and not Christians.

Those in power should read more of the world’s history, of the history of the city of Alexandria before it became Muslim and discover how things turn in time, they might develop a deeper understanding of what makes a successful civilization. We should be alarmed at the creation of a totalitarian and vengeful Egypt, one who is trying its best to have only one type of citizen, and if quickly turning into something that is much worst than it used to be before that Arab spring.
