A Criminal and A Virgin?

Something that started as a kind of crazy made up story turns out to be true, for reasons that will be near to impossible for non Muslim westeners to understand, it looks like the Egyptian army did conduct “virginity checks” to females arrested during the rough couple of weeks that started the revolution.

The main question I had when I saw this was why the hell would anyone bother to check the virginity of the protesters, and how on earth this got to do with anything else, answers came soon enough. It looks like if you are a virgin any kind of sexual assault on you could be easily discovered and tracked, but if you are not a virgin than anyone can have his way with you, because in Islam that is how you roll.

This is simply unbelievable, to write this on a laptop, 400 years or so after the end of the Spanish inquisition, when we got micro waves and tivo… Can this really be?

Oh yeah, just ask the Saudi woman who bravely drove a car last week, she was arrested and released yesterday, however it looks like she will not take to this struggle any more, because she is a divorced mother, and by that I do mean not a virgin, and was considered free game for any one of the many all male guards at the prison.

And if you still did not get it, will spell it out to you, if you are a woman stupid enough to rock the boat in Muslim countries and you are not a virgin be ready to get what is coming in the prison or facility you are held up in, if you are guilty or not is a whole different question, try asking up some Twitter ladies from Iran.

We did not forget, and we will not forget. 1992-1995 were the happy years of some of the Balkan’s worst members of the human race, blood thirsty murderers that did not stop at anything, and if you are not old enough to know what I am talking about type the word “Sarajevo” into your Wiki search.

This monster of a man is responsible for the mass slaughters at Srebrenica and Zepa, bombarding of the city of Sarajevo with the clear purpose of killing as many people as possible, while most of the world stood and watched, just as the world does, and is still doing (surprised?).

And the twist in this post is that its the Serbian Orthodox Church that is the faith base of this insane killer, and that he is not (yet) convicted of his crimes, which will undoubtedly be called “patriotic acts of war” or something like that by his defenders, and why will they not be called that when you believe it is your god itself that wants you to ethnically cleanse the area of those who do not believe in him.

Naturally all other churches will claim that this is some perverse version of the religion of the one true god, and that the actual religions of the murderer and those he murdered did not matter all that much, but it will not be true. This guy killed Muslims, ones close enough for him to get his dirty hands on, Muslims all ages shapes and looks, and he did that because he had some code belief that they were so different to him and his people, and that morally he could do this.

The terrible thing here is that there is a feeling that this country is handing this guy over to play nice with the EU so they would let them in, so if the killing of 8,000 innocent people lets you in the EU I wonder if Turkey will dig up some of its mass murderers or maybe Syria will want to push for this number (its already like 2,000 killed) for added benefits.

Why the U.S.A. Is (Still) Humanity Best Chance

It is rather common to talk dirty about the U.S. these day, in fact, it been a fashion for a while now, something like 5-6 years at least. At first it was mainly president Bush that was getting all the heat (and to be honest, and see what is going on today, you can not feel bad that he got such a bad response) after that it became the whole country. Today a large number of Americans feel bad about the country they live in, which is a great shame.

The U.S.A. is still the beacon of hope, freedom and liberty in this world, the principles its founding fathers have so ingeniously put together still hold true and its passion for the freedom of speech makes it the great country it is, this freedom had spread to other places in the world inspired by the American revolution, but I can think of no place that still holds the same respect to the main principles of governance.

There are many things wrong with the U.S. today, and it needs a whole lot of fixing, but make no mistake, the freedoms that the American people enjoy and the banal things they can do and practice daily will have other people killed in other countries. The American people should understand that its founding fathers were not terrorists trying to murder the British, but real freedom warriors, who had no other place ot go but their homes and their lands, the British had their own homes and lands – and it was not in America. The British did not negotiate terms of freedom with the American population, it forced it to pay for its occupation, let us not forget this.

The founding fathers knew all about oppression and all about the misery of not being free because they experienced it first hand, in a way that no one really knows today.

So here is for the U.S.A. and lets hope it will restore its old glory.
