Traditional Muslims Can Not Disconnect From ISIS

November 15, 2015 by Leave a Comment

Whenever terror strikes, in Istanbul, one a Russian plane above the Sinai or in the streets of Paris you can count the minutes until someone mentions the obvious, “most Muslims in the world are good, honest and hardworking people, they have nothing to do with this kind of behavior and they certainly do not support it”. Well, thats is somewhat true, not completely true.

Here is a terrifying truth about your Muslim neighbor, the guy that owns that nice Lebanese restaurant and the nice shy Muslim woman who you see in when you walk your dog, almost all traditional Muslims have some support for the ideas of the most radical, militant and fanatical terrorists out there.

This might sound pretty harsh, and it is – and it should make you think about it for a moment. This is not a guess or an invention, it i s based on annual research and polls presented to Muslims around the world – and especially ones in the Western part of it, and in all of them you will be shocked to find that, for example, Muslims in the UK strongly believe that blasphemy should be punished, or that directly insulting the prophet should be punishable, and by punishable they do not mean someone writing you a ticket.

So while Muslims all over the world might shake their heads and sigh over the Paris attacks, they will not truly condemn the “Charlie Hebdo” massacre because “why should they paint hurtful images of the prophet to begin with?”, and that is exactly the kind of connection many traditional and Western Muslims have with the most radical murderers out there.

An easy way to spot this is the answer “Yes, but…”, notice Muslims defend terror, murder and even calls for genocide by saying “yes, but…”

The Americans brought this on themselves by invading Iraq.

The Danish papers should not have published those images.

The French should not have bombed those villages in Syria.

The Jewish girl should not have been somehow connected to the State of Israel.

There is no “but”, killing innocent people, targeting them, months of planning on how to murder the most coffee drinking Parisians does not have any type or kind of excuse. Try and think of one major terror attack of the recent years that did not directly targeted unsuspecting civilians, its not easy to find one. There is no “struggle” or “fight” there is just a routine killing of anyone who is not liked by the radical Muslims, in Turkey in Sinai and in Paris.

When Reality Explodes in Paris

France's bloody Night
France’s bloody Night

Before anything, we stand with the good people of the French republic, as any normal and decent human being living in these times should. However.

It has not been one full year since the Charlie Habdo slaughter, it has not been three years since Muslim fanatics murdered a young blond haired girl at the yard at her school by pulling her hair and executing her. France has been fully aware of the threat of ISIS and all other muslim groups and has done little to stop them from operating in France, whatever little they did do failed miserably last night in Paris.

The failure to know your enemy, to realize who it is, what it wants and how he plans to get it is so fundamental to any struggle and yet the French has done nothing to try and advance on that front. Religious fanatics, coming from the Islam religion, are not even called what they are on the media, they are “attackers”, their victims have “died” and not “murdered”. There is no doubt, a culture that will not stand up and defend itself is not worthy of life – the France republic is heading this way and fast.

So, it is no longer “just the Jews” or “just those freedom loving caricaturists in Charlie Hebdo”, its everyone, all the time – in practically any country in Europe. It has always been that way – but the French diluted themselves into thinking that they would dodge this bullet, by being nice, by sympathizing with terrorists in other countries, because some terror is somehow justified ???

And now its time to pay up, and as always it is the worst possible time because Europe had just introduced hundreds of thousands of Islamic immigrants into its very heart, without records, papers or any idea who these people are. These people will now add to the already existing multitude of European citizens who actively plan to carry out attacks against their own neighbors and the country they live in.

If there was ever a time for militant atheism it is right now, incorporate it into your laws France, step up to the challenge, take your religious citizens and demand of them a clear stand – are you with a secular, democratic republic or are you with you blood lustful god?.

Massive anti gay marriage demonstrations in Paris
Massive anti gay marriage demonstrations in Paris

France, one of the most important counties in the history of the modern world, the strongest European country to support the American revolution and allow for the formation of the U.S.A. as we know it, and old world leader in popular revolution, has been slowly sinking into an old fashion style conservatism that is unbecoming its general style of  “liberte egalite fraternite”.

Massive demonstrations, some of them very violent, of anti gay marriage notion has been held for over two months in the country, some of those demonstrations had only a couple dozens citizens, often departing form the local church or city hall, however in this last weekend the capital saw an overwhelming crowd of about 800,000 French come to show their concern about a potential future change in the marriage law in the country.

Unfortunately we live in a time in which it is not necessary to point out why people object so strongly to what others do in their own independent lives, very much like you would not have to explain the “laws” of slavery to an 18th century American land owner, so we will not get into that, we will only mention briefly that the crowd has many conflicting, sometimes even bitter enemies, leaders of the three main religions find themselves shoulder to shoulder, when on their everyday lives they sometimes preach intolerance towards each other. This is targeted mainly at the Muslim community, mainly in France, who is purposely keeping itself in closed confinements, avoiding contact with the local culture, only to go out and protest the natural progress of normal modern people.

This regression in the French thinking is also tied into the rise of the popular right wing parties, who are against anything non French, they also find themselves on this ground, with the same crowd they detest, a strange mix. How the French became so intolerable is a anthropological question, but the route we are now on is pretty clear, a country that is now deeply socialist wants to regress its personal freedoms into traditional, religious values, this is as close as you can get to the revival of national socialism, a nicer name for leather boots and concentration camps.

While we should not be insensitive towards any group, religious or not, the amount of respect we need to show people who are obsessed about controlling the lives of others, most of whom have absolutely no effect on the lives of the religious should be minimal. There is nothing wrong with traditional values and behavior, and religious people can do whatever they like in their own homes – just anyone else can – maybe they will understand that for once.

France’s Le Pen Shows Her True Face

September 26, 2012 by Leave a Comment

France’s right wing leader Le Pen had made a statement in light of recent events, that shows all the difficulties that come with support for the European political right and its own issues with itself. In order to balance the equation about the burqa (Islamic veil) banning in France Le Pen suggests that France bans the Jewish yarmulka as well.

But these are two different things, first the yarmulka is never big enough to cover a mans face (and is exclusively male), and it applies to all religious Jews wherever you go, when the burqa is not a 100% accepted things across the Islamic world. You can easily see a few different versions of head gear for women in the Islamic nation, some of which only cover hair and ears (like many Iranians).

Besides the (very) French custom of clearing the equation by discriminating another minority in order to please another, bigger minority, this shows us the real face of the French right wing, who has complete lack of understanding why we oppose the burqa, this is not a small thing since motives are important here, and if you are motivated only by xenophobia and hate you’re probably not in the Atheist camp.

We are against the burqa because it locks women behind a wall of fabric, because it assumes that any women who shows her face of her figure is trying to seduce men and therefore is responsible for her own potential future rape. We object the burqa because it is a sign of the male dominance over women and the submission of women to men in the Islamic world, it symbolizes a world that ignores and imprisons half its population and we can not and will not be a part of it.

On the democratic and civilized side we are opposed to the burqa because it is completely contrary to western normal standards of dress and being, we expect to see the full faces of those we are dealing with , we expect to have clear knowledge of the full facial expressions of that person and we expect all our civilizations populace to be responsible for their actions and be accountable for them – which in the burqa case is impossible because you can never identify a person based on how they look with a black sheet over their face and body.

Unfortunately this last statement by Le Pen shows that the French right wing leader is more interested in hurting non Christian French minorities than promoting humanism and progress, lets hope she is not a direct reflection of her voters.

Le Pen Shows Her True Colors, Simple Racism.

Charlie Hebdo Has the Solution

September 19, 2012 by Leave a Comment

The French magazine “Charlie Hebdo” is at it once again, its people told the press yesterday that they plan to take out the weekly edition with caricatures of the prophet Mohammed and go another round with the local French muslims, who by the way burned the offices of Charlie Hebdo last time the magazine published offensive content.

This could be the solution to the everlasting hurtful feelings of some Muslims, simply getting them used to the sort of creative critic the rest of the world enjoys for a hundred years now, maybe it is their persistent exclusion from this sort of films/magazines/novels that creates this violent insane response across so many Islamic countries.

In any case it is remarkable that more and more people are joining in on the fight for free speech and opinion, and the right to state your mind, no matter how “offensive” someone finds it, people can easily learn to live with opinions that they do not like, even hate. This is turning to be an expansive month, first we needed to back Tom Holland’s documentary on Islam‘s origins by buying his books, now we need to head to the newsstand to buy a new copy of Charlie Hebdo
