Understand Islam

February 10, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Great video, but it lets the other religions off easy I think.

However there is a lot for the West to learn about Islam, some of it not so bad. However, woudnt it be much better without the belief that there is a god, and that this god orederd someone in a desert (once upon a time) to take his word to the world, this time as a final word with the choice of taking it on, or die.

Quickly Everyone Egypt Is for Grabs!

February 4, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Now it looks like everyone is trying to make the most out of the misery and the uprising of the middle class educated citizens of Egypt.

Among these you can find the religious Muslim brotherhood, and a quick peek into the mind of some of these people would scare even a left winged delusional student in the university of Berkley.

However, it seems lucky for the people of Egypt and all of the rest of the world, so far the most powerful voice in the demonstrations in Egypt is the voice of the simple citizen, the one who wants more freedom, more democracy, and better – honest financial system that moves the local economics.

In the meanwhile check out this interview on CNN (who, for some reason were not afraid to voice out an anti Muslim opinion… maybe they lost some advertisers lately?) which drives the point home, just listening this the person interviewed makes it very clear how dangerous religions in general are, and Islam in particular is right now.

Here’s a Point of View…

January 12, 2011 by Leave a Comment

This makes a very good point. But is it not also (partly) applicable to any religion?

I would agree that Islam is probably one of the most dangerous organized religion today, but I can not say that other religions are the opposite of this. Its refreshing to see someone making such a powerful speech, on such a topic. especially the last 2 minutes. Well done.

Xenophobia (From Wikipedia)

January 6, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Xenophobia is defined as the “hatred or fear of foreigners or strangers or of their politics or culture”.[1] It comes from the Greek words ξένος (xenos), meaning “stranger,” “foreigner” and φόβος (phobos), meaning “fear.”

Xenophobia can manifest itself in many ways involving the relations and perceptions of an ingroup towards an outgroup, including a fear of losing identity, suspicion of its activities, aggression, and desire to eliminate its presence to secure a presumed purity.[3] Xenophobia can also be exhibited in the form of an “uncritical exaltation of another culture” in which a culture is ascribed “an unreal, stereotyped and exotic quality”
